A very warm welcome to the Community Park School’s, Parent Teacher Organization website – CP PTO to our friends.

Our goals as a PTO are to enrich the quality of our children’s education, assist our teachers in fulfilling their classroom objectives & bring together our families & school community, through social activities and community events. In short, we roll our sleeves up & help … & we fundraise! We have 3 core principles that we ask ourselves before we do anything:

  1. Does it have meaning?
  2. Does it build community?
  3. Is it fun?

This year heralds the start of exciting new things at CP. The Spanish immersion of our Kindergarten & first graders, a brand new school logo & a whole slew of new Events & Activities promises to make it a great year, but we need your help to be successful. We are all volunteering, so the more of us that get involved, the better the outcome.

Start by attending the PTO meetings to learn more. Meetings will be held monthly with our Principal, Dineen Gruchacz & different guest speakers. To start with, we will meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Until we find what works best, timing will be 8:30am AND 7pm, so you can all find a time to attend. There will even be a movie playing in the gym, so no babysitter = no excuse!

If you want to get more involved & have fun at the same time, sign up to help. There’s something for everyone! If you have any questions or you would like to volunteer, please contact Wendy Kolano (Farrington) at wdkolano@gmail.com or Mia Cahill at miacahill@yahoo.com

See you soon!
